1.  In which part of the mountains and basins region did they live?

The Mescalero Apache lived in New Mexico by 1855.

2.  What types of landforms, climate and natural resources are located where they settled?

Mountains, Basins , rivers, canyons. It was hot and rocky.

3.  Were they gatherers, farmers or hunters?  What types of food did they eat?

They were hunters. Meat was important to their diet.

4.  What type of shelter did they live in?  Did they use the natural resources around them to build their shelter?

In Arizona and New Mexico they lived in wikiups.A brush and dirt to build their wikiups. 

5.  What system of government did the Native Texan group have?  How did they govern themselves?

Led by Geronimo were ordered to go to the San Carlos Reservation.
