     They lived in the Gulf Coast part of the region.

2.  What types of landforms, climate and natural resources are located where they settled?

     There were barier islands, oceans and plains. There was trees,water,grass,soil, and animals. The climate was hot and humid.

3.  Were they gatherers, farmers or hunters?  What types of food did they eat?

     They were hunters, nomads and gatherers. They ate buffalo,corn, and deer.

4.  What type of shelter did they live in?  Did they use the natural resources around them to build their shelter? They lived in Wickiups.They  used sticks and animal hides.

The Karankawa had a Chief as a system of government. They lived villages.
